Project Title:
Tanzania Tree Biotechnology Project (TTBP) – GAT 2490.
Project Description:
The project started in September 2003 with plans to successfully transfer and apply tree biotechnology to Eucalyptus hybrids and other desired coppicing indigenous tree species. The project aimed at establishing a clonal nursery to produce genetically enhanced Eucalyptus clonal plants for subsistence and commercial purposes.
